Lester Davis, 85, of Stockton passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He was born April 27, 1930, in Wolf, Oklahoma. Lester was first and foremost a devoted husband to his wife, Sybil Davis, and loving father to their seven children. He was a favorite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Lester was widely respected by many for his never-ending selfless generosity.
Lester is survived by his children: Floyd Davis (Myrna), Twana Davis, Detrie Smith (Matthias), Shagay Anselment (Tim), Delene Wade (Josiah), and Traci Williams (Justin).
Grandchildren: Randi Carlson, Sunshine Davis, Floyd Davis Jr., Syndi Schon
Great Grandchildren: Grace Schulz, Olyvia and Lilly Schon, Derrick and Leslie Carlson, Mason, Cash and Isaiah Davis.
Siblings: Rachel Dye and Ida Willard
Preceded in death by: Sybil Davis (wife), Jeannie Davis-Miller (daughter)
SERVICES
Graveside services Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
