Glenn A. Biddy

Glenn A. BiddyBiddy11/26/1925- 10/22/2015 Glenn Austin Biddy passed away on October 22, 2015 at the age of 89 from a year long battle with cancer. He was born in La Junta, Colorado on November 26, 1925 to Amos and Lucy Biddy. The family traveled to California and settled in Cutler. Upon high school graduation, Glenn enlisted in the Army and served in the Pacific, in the Battle of Okinawa. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. His interest in veteran’s issues was life long and he was a member of American Legion Post 22 and the VFW. He was also a member of the Okinawa Veterans breakfast club. Glenn retired from Unisys Corporation in 1986 after 38 years as a computer technician. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing golf. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Liann, one brother, two sons, one daughter, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
