Donald C. Foletta passed away on June 24, 2015 in Lodi at the age of 79. Don was born on October 17, 1935 in Stockton to Marie and Charles Foletta.
Don and his brother Wayne owned a Farming business “Foletta Bros. Inc” for more than 20 years and when he retired started a mobile repair company “Foletta Mobile Repair”.
Don loved his family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also, loved drag racing and building small block motors which out-performed big blocks at the Sacramento Drag Strip.
Don spent his youth at the Tuesday Night grudge match races at the Kingdon Drag Strip in Lodi and was especially proud of his 55 Chevy which he bought new and modified for the strip. Don also, raced twin engine Go-Karts at the oval in Lodi for many years receiving dozens of trophies.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and by his son Donald Ray Foletta. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Pauline Foletta; children: David Foletta (Janie), Cheryl Foletta (LeAnne); grandchildren: Danny Foletta (Michelle), Holly Foletta (Alex); great-grandchildren: Brian, Charlotte, and Addison; his Brother Wayne Foletta (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Plants rather than flowers are preferred or donations to: Hospice of San Joaquin County in the name of Don Foletta.

SERVICES
A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi, CA 95240.
A Reception will follow the service at the Stockton Ballroom, 9650 Thornton Rd., Stockton, CA 95209.
