Jackie “Jack” Burch05/20/1927 – 01/07/2016 of Idaho

Jack Burch made the transition from this life into heaven on January 7, 2016 at the Veteran’s home in Boise, Idaho at the age of 88. He was born on May 20, 1927 in Hillsboro, Texas. He married the love of his life Donna Tillery in 1950. BurchHe moved his family from Texas to Stockton in 1956 where he lived until 1982. He then moved to Modesto until 2010 and then to Boise, Idaho until the time of his death. Jack retired from Lawrence Livermore Laboratories. He was a World War II veteran and served two tours in the United States Navy. He was an avid weight lifter and weight trained many young boys down through the years. He boxed in the Navy and the Golden Gloves. He loved camping and horseback riding. He is preceded in death by his mother Eula Mae Burch, father John Burch, wife of 55 years Donna Burch, and two sisters Ruth Gordon and Etta Monk. He is survived by sisters Ruby Steele and Delores Whittington and brother Michael Burch of Texas, sons Jackie Dean (Vicki) of Texas, Steven Burch (Hennie) of Oakdale, David Burch (Marla) of Kuna, Idaho, and daughters Patti Solano (Joe) of Newman and Nancy Sudduth (Darrel) of Oakdale. His grandchildren are Dennis Mercer, Shelby Volonte, Jackie Wayne Burch, Michael Burch, Jeffrey Burch, Taylor Burch, Connor Burch, Hannah Burch, Sara Burch, and Abby Burch. He also has 13 great grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi, Ca on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 1:00.
