"Betty” Elizabeth Marie Hieb passed away in her sleep peacefully early July 5 at the age just shy of 92 in Fresno, CA. 
Betty was born in Lodi,Ca. and lived there her whole life there except a brief time during WW2. She married Donald Hieb in Michigan and lived in Florida and other places while Don was training for the Air Force. Don was eventually assigned to India and Betty moved back to her childhood home where she gave birth to her son David.
When Don returned home, they moved to the family farm to live, work and play. Betty had a daughter, Marilyn. She had many wonderful family dinners at the house on Harney Lane. There she showed her devotion to family, friends, church, roses and reading. Betty loved spoiling her grandson, Ryan Carlson and the time she spent caring for her nephew and nieces Michael, Ellen, and Carol. She was involved with the Garden Club, Women’s Club, her beloved bridge group, and the United Methodist Church
Betty is survived by her son and daughter and their spouses, Stan and Camille, two grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will be missed, but happily reunited with her late husband, Don, whom she was married to for 59 years.
SERVICES
There will be a burial for immediate family on Friday, July 8 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of her life will be Saturday, August 13 at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church with a reception following. In of flowers donations can be made to:
