ALBERTA WENNHOLD SHOOKSept. 7, 1929 – Jan. 1, 2017 Alberta passed away in her El Dorado Hills home after a short illness. She was a Stockton High School graduate. After her marriage to Albert Shook the couple moved to Washington DC and later to Southern CA. She returned to Northern CA to live in Stockton, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale. She retired as a career US Post Office Employee. Alberta’s interests and activities included Camp Fire Girls, volunteering at the Sacramento Railroad Museum, photography, stamp collecting, genealogy, and keeping ties with family and friends. She was predeceased in death by her only child, Dianne Shook. She is survived by cousins Adeline Lorraine Castleman and Geraldine Pedroncelli.
VISITATION
Visitation will be held at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in Lodi on Mon., Jan. 16 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
SERVICES
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
