Marlon Anderson

July 18, 1956 - January 13 2021

Marlon was born in Stockton on July 18, 1956 and passed away with his beloved wife, Betty Anderson, by his side, on January 13, 2021.

Marlon was preceded in death by his mother Mabel Brice, his father Marlon Anderson and his brother Curtis O'Hare. He is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years Betty Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marlon graduated from Franklin High School in 1974 and began working at Holly Sugar in Tracy. He remained with the company for 36 years as an Extra Station Man before moving on to Penny Newman Grain as a millwright, from where he retired February 1, 2019.

Marlon was an avid outdoorsman who grew up hunting and fishing and loved spending his free time exploring new spots to do both. He was accompanied on most of these excursions by his wife Betty and one or more of their treasured dogs. He and Betty enjoyed cheering on their local sports teams every season, including the Stockton Ports and the Stockton Heat. While Marlon enjoyed watching all sports, the Buffalo Bills held a special place in his heart and he was thrilled to see them heading towards their first playoff win in 25 years.

Marlon was a wonderful husband, a generous friend, and a favorite uncle. He was truly loved, will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
