Gloria Padilla de Morales , 74, of Lodi, California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at home. Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas to Jesus and Concepcion Padilla.
Gloria was a retired accountant, she was known for her accuracy and work ethic in a time when computers were not used, a fact that she was very proud of. She enjoyed playing loteria with family and friends, lottery scratchers and spoiling her grandsons. She was also so wise, you knew it by the great advise she always gave.
Gloria is survived by her three children Nancy, Jorge and Martin Morales Jr, and grandsons Miguel and Ethan Cervantes. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She always said they were her life and never missed an opportunity to say how proud she was of all of them.
Gloria is also survived by her brothers Gustavo and Antonio Padilla and her sister Maria Elena Padilla, as well as many loving brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Gloria is preceded in death by her by loving husband and best friend of 43 years, Martin Morales. They were married in Brownsville, Texas on December 27, 1977. She is also preceded in death her parents Jesus and Concepcion Padilla, and her sister Ana Celia Padilla.
VISITATION
Viewing will be held from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday November 11, 2021 at Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. The rosary will begin at 6:00pm.
SERVICE
The funeral service will be at the same location as the viewing on November 12, 2021 at 1:30pm.
