Robert Maus

December 9, 1931 - November 16, 2021

Robert “Bob” Maus passed away on November 16, 2021 at the age of 89.  His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.  Despite his pain, Bob came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end.

Born on December 9, 1931 in Stockton, CA to Rose and Charles Maus, Bob was the only child.  Bob married the love of his life, Elrene, in high school and they went on to get married on February 4, 1951.  Together, they had two daughters, Debbie Rollins and Lynn Ah Yo.  In 1952, he began his time in the U.S. Air Force where he served overseas in Japan and the Philippine Islands. Bob joined the Bank of Stockton in 1987 where he was the Vice President and Manager of the Lodi Branch and went on to retire from the bank in 1996.

Bob was a devoted Catholic, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend to many.  He was very active in serving on several organizations. He also enjoyed a good round of golf and watching the 49ers play!

Bob felt truly blessed by all of his family. Bob is survived by his wife Elrene, his daughter Lynn and her husband Todd Ah Yo of Ripon, CA and daughter Debbie Rollins of Sunnyvale, CA; five grandchildren, Stephanie and Sara Rollins, Crystal Petersen, Casi Painter, and Chris Ah Yo; and nine great-grandchildren.
