Dorothy Goff - beloved mother, grandma, great- grandma (Mema), great-great-grandma, sister and aunt, joined her husband while her granddaughters sang Amazing Grace to her as she was welcomed into Gods arms November 15, 2021 at 86 years of age.
She was born in Galena, Kansas on March 28, 1935 to Lawrence and Leona Tackett, she married Archie Allen Goff June 20, 1953 and shortly thereafter they move to California and raised 3 girls.
Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Ruth Malitz (Mike) of Jacksonville, TX, Judy Crafton (Steven) of Whitehouse, TX; brother, Larry Tackett (Loretta); sisters Nancy Cheatham; brother-in-law, Charles Goff all living in California; grandchildren, Terry (Angie), Jason (Subreena), JoAnn, Stefanie (Billy), April (Keith) and Joshua; 12 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and all the loves of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Allen; daughter, Susan Wiebe; parents, Lawrence and Leona Tackett; sister, Doris; brothers-in-law, Bob and Dennis; and sister-in-law, Beverly .
The services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021. The viewing will take place from 9 to 12 a.m. followed by the graveside service at 12:30 p.m
VISITATION
A visitation will be held from 9:00am - 12:00pm on Monday November 22, 2021 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home located at 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA 95240.
SERVICE
A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm on Monday November 22, 2021 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
