November 25, 1924 - January 27, 2021
On January 27, 2021, Nadyne P. Sessions made her Peaceful Heavenly journey home held tightly in the arms of her daughter Renee; surrounded by her son-in-law Marc, her grandson Brandon & wife Mallory, and her sister-in-law Kathryn Hardy.
Nadyne was born to Clarence A. Hardy and Lula Blanche O’Brian on November 25, 1924 in Little River, Kansas.
Nadyne, after graduating from Stockton High School in 1943, went directly to work for Bank of America where she worked until the birth of her daughter Renee in 1952. She met her handsome Airforce Pilot, LaVor Sessions, stationed at Stockton Field in 1945, on a blind date. Love blossomed and they were married on March 31, 1946. They were lovingly married for 60 years.
Nadyne became a full time homemaker and was actively involved in her community. While Renee was attending school she participated in all of the Waterloo and Linden community activities, fund raisers, spaghetti feeds, cookie sales, Whist Card Parties, Fashion Shows, PTA, 4H and Rainbow for girls. She was an active member in Linden Order of Eastern Star and a member of Stockton Covenant Church. Nadyne enjoyed accompanying her husband, LaVor to all the Linden Lion Club social gatherings. She was an ardent San Francisco Giants fan and knew most of the players by name. In her twilight years she thoroughly enjoyed the Girls Canasta Group and their monthly birthday lunches.
Besides her loving husband and daughter, her Pride and Joy was her Grandson, Brandon. “Nana” as Brandon called her became an integral part of his life. She was known to be “the Fetcher” when she baseball with Brandon and his young friends, in their backyard. Papa pitched, Nana fetched. It was quite the Team. Along with Papa, Nana attended all of Brandon’s school sports and musical activities throughout his life. Her proudest moment was when she regally walked on Brandon’s arm down the aisle at his wedding, February 22, 2020. She was the Queen escorted by her beloved “Little Prince” on his memorable day.
The family would like to thank mom’s caregivers and the Hospice of San Joaquin Staff for their efficient and loving care. To our loving friends we thank you for your continued prayers and emotional support during this difficult time. To her dearest friends, she thanks you for a lifetime of friendships.
