Adan Gómez Maldonado, 84, passed away February 5, 2021 in Stockton, California. Adan Gómez was born in 1937 in General Terán Nuevo León, México to Emiliana and Mariano Gómez. He lived in Acampo, California for over 60 years. He had a great sense of humor, an easy going personality, and an open-minded nature which enabled him to make friends easily and to be a well-liked, respected member of his community. His lifelong passion for nature enabled him to grow many different types of fruit trees; which included his famous pecans, donut Saturn peach and several types of lemon trees. He enjoyed spending his time with his beloved wife of 55 years, being around his children and grandchildren and playing with Dulce his Yorkie-Poo. He always made sure everyone knew how much he loved them. Adan was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, 3 sisters and his daughter Emelia Gómez. He is survived by his wife, Lidia Yolanda Gómez; his son, Mariano Gómez (Ludy); daughter, Diana Gonzalez (Lou); and daughter, Marina Berry (Kevin); his son-inlaw, Jose Haro; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and his beloved Yorkie-Poo, Dulce.

VISITATION

A viewing will take place for family and friends from 1 - 4 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd., Lodi, CA.

SERVICES

A rosary and burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Main Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park. Graveside service will take place immediately following in the Lady of Guadalupe.

Masks will be required.
