June 18, 1942 - May 05, 2021
Our beloved Chuck Carman, passed away Wednesday May 05, 2021 at age 78 in Stockton CA.
Chuck was born in Oakland, CA to Edward and Alice Carman. He attended Escalon High School through the 10th grade and soon thereafter, he was drafted into the US Army September 1964 and graduated while in service. He was honorably discharged in June 1966. He made his living as a truck/tow truck driver, later opening his own automotive and towing business in Stockton for many years (Rep-Co Towing and Automotive).
Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was able to bring everyone together to enjoy one of his most beloved activities, the 99 Speedway every Saturday to watch his race cars. Racing was a prideful activity that brought laughter and smiles to all. At home he cherished watching WWE and old western movies. The memories he created around the television and racetrack will never be forgotten.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Marie Carman; his older brother, Ed Carman; his younger sister, Pamela Philips; 3 daughters, Silvia, Serina, and Lisa; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was a devoted husband to his wife, and father to his daughters. He loved his grandchildren (Krissi being his favorite). Chuck taught many lessons and was always proud of the successes of his children. He will always hold a place in our hearts as our stubborn man and mentor."
