David Knickerbocker passed away suddenly on June 8th. David was born in Stockton and graduated from Stagg High School in 1962. He served his country as a Corporal in the United States National Guard and proudly served his community as a Stockton Police Officer for 33 years. There was nothing David couldn't do. He was a farmer, mechanic, contractor, deer whisperer, human fish finder, and collector/restorer of classic cars. He was our Husband, our Dad our Papa and our best friend.
Of all of his accomplishments, there was nothing that meant more to David than his family. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jo. Son Michael (Trisha) Knickerbocker, son Joseph Knickerbocker, daughter Angela (Erick) Pilcher and daughter Jodi (Mark) Jones. Grandchildren Scott, Joseph, Erick, Cameron, Julianna, and Logan. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarkston and Arline; step-father, Paul Barnes; sister, Ladonna Chambers; granddaughter, Stephanie Jones.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, CA. After the services, there will be a reception at the Linden Lions Club.
