Jack Vaughn

February 13, 1944 - June 10, 2021

Jack was born in French Camp, Ca on February 13th 1944. He passed away on June 10, 2021 after a brief battle with Liver Cancer.

Jack was 1 of 9 children. He spent a small portion of his youth in Arkansas before his family returned to California again, settling in Stockton.

Jack attended Franklin High School and also attended San Joaquin Delta College where he completed Pilot Training courses, passing all courses to obtain his license. He grew up working in orchards and continued working in the orchards during his early adult years. He went on to work for Del Monte before beginning his career with Marley Cooling Towers as a machinist and working his way into overseeing Quality Control. Jack retired after 40+ years with Marley. Jack was an avid reader interested in History and Biblical facts. If you wanted to know who begot who, ask Jack. He had a keen interest in biblical family lines.

Jack was also complicated and stubborn man of high morals. He kept conversations interesting.

He married Norma White, his wife of 51 years, on Dec 21, 1964. They went on to have 4 Beautiful Daughters.

Jack was preceded in Death by his wife, Norma (White) Vaughn, his parents Bud and Willie Vaughn, his brothers Wayne and Bill Vaughn, and Sister Peggy (Vaughn) Wallen.

Jack leaves behind his 4 Daughters and 3 Son -in-laws. Kayleen McCaul (Vaughn), Starleen (Vaughn) and Don Carrington, Cindra (Vaughn) and Scott Delay, Tamara (Vaughn) and Jeff Keefover. Jack also has 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

He was a man that was loved and admired by family and friends. He will be missed greatly.

VISITATION

A visitation will be held Friday June 18, 2021 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Evergreen Chapel  at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA.

SERVICE

The graveside service will follow at 1:00pm on Friday June 18, 2021 at the Cherokee Memorial Park, located off  Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
