Randy Dean Scott, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Randy was born in Lodi on December 1, 1955. After graduating from Lodi High, Randy met Diane, his wife of 45 years. Together they raised three beautiful daughters, Julie, Jennifer, and Janell.
Randy worked at Holz Rubber Company from 1972 until the mid-80s. From there he worked with Primo Clean, Lustre-Cal, and retired in 2015 after working as a vineyard manager for Volkert Vineyards. Randy was a faithful member of Vinewood Community Church and served in many areas over the years. He was a talented self taught musician, singer, and songwriter, and played guitar, mandolin, and harmonica in “Branches”, a Christian gospel band. He enjoyed camping, dirt bike riding, cooking with family and friends, tinkering on projects, power naps, and was an original member of the “Fish till You Drop” fly-fishing group.
Randy loved family get togethers and his nine grandchildren were his greatest joy. He will be dearly missed. Randy is survived by his wife, Diane Scott, brothers Bruce Scott (Terri) and Wayne Scott (Deanna), sister Pam Baumback (Ken), daughters Julie Denni (Robert), Jennifer Mustin (Tim), and Janell Kochevar (Ryan), and nine grandchildren: Rachel, Meredith, Claire and Audrey Mustin; Madison, Andrew and Emma Denni; and Jackson and Alice Kochevar. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dareld and Elda Jean Scott.
VISITATION
A visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Thursday June 24, 2021 at at Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
SERVICE
The graveside services will be held on Friday, June 25 at Cherokee Memorial Park’s Garden of Angels at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Vinewood Community Church at 11:00 am, 1900 W. Vine Street.
