Esther Nathaniel

November 04, 1942 - August 28, 2021

Mrs. Esther Prabha Nathaniel, A Legend And A Chosen Woman Of God: Entered the gates of heaven on August 28, 2021, to be reunited with the love of her life the Late Rev. Satya Mudaliar Nathaniel. Born on November 4, 1942, in Suva Fiji Islands; She was the daughter of the Late Mrs. Ram Piyari and Mr. Ram Narayan. Her honorary parents since birth were Late Mr. & Mrs Alfred Raman and Late Mr. & Mrs Tiger Shankar.

On January 9, 1960, she married Rev. Satya Mudaliar Nathaniel the son of Late Mr & Mrs Muniswamy Mudaliar of Wailailai BA. They had Four “Behaal”(Amazing) children Michael, Rose “Bubba”, Lawrence “Billy” and Sony Ruth and they all lived humbly and happily in Nadi, Fiji Islands. Together they pioneered Glad Tidings Assemblies of God church and faithfully served the Lord and the people of Fiji. As a wife of a Minister, Mrs. Nathaniel stood strong alongside her husband and served selflessly. She was dearly loved and adored by many. She was a mentor, a mother figure and a role model globally, especially the church family.

In 1979, the Nathaniel family migrated to America and settled in Stockton CA. They faithfully continued in the ministry together, founded many Hindi-speaking churches named Anugrah in America, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. In 1980, Mrs. Nathaniel joined the healthcare industry. She loved her job and was quite often recognized for her flawless, kind and caring nature. When at home, she continued serving. Her home was a hub and it was always open to everyone. Without a doubt there was always a place for you at the table in her home. She always made sure you were fed before leaving no matter what! She loved to sing, enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings. She was known to reach out to her family, friends, and church members frequently. She had a fierce attention to detail. She kept close contact with loved ones and spent countless hours keeping in touch. Mrs. Nathaniel continued to be the glue that kept the family together even after the passing of Mr. Nathaniel in 2013. She was so sad, but understood God’s will. Thus, she remained faithful in the wilderness, a prayer warrior, and a continual true servant of God.

Over the years, she never lost the twinkle in her eyes, her infectious laugh, and her sense of humor. Her strength, wisdom, elegance, class, dedication to her church, endless faith and a heart that was filled with love for her family and many others were all genuine qualities of her. Mrs. Nathaniel loved her kids and grandchildren unconditionally and they were all the apple of her eye. She left behind four God fearing talented children, 10 beautiful, brilliant grandchildren, granddaughter in-law, daughter in-laws, son in-laws and numerous brothers and sisters. Mrs. Nathaniel was the Queen of her castle, and her love for all remains a strong force in our world. She was a legend and left a legacy! She will truly be missed.
