Sheridan "Red" Redman

July 09, 1941 - January 25, 2022

Sheridan “Red” Redman of Galt, CA entered into rest on January 25th, 2022 with his children by his side. Red was born on July 9th, 1941 in French Camp, CA to Bill and Jessie Redman.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine (King) Redman and his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Gregory Redman (Tina) of Acampo, CA; daughter Rebecca Redman of Galt, CA; grandson, Lance Redman of Tacoma, WA; granddaughter, Amy Krause (Jeremy) of Valley Springs, CA; great grandson, Jackson Krause of Valley Springs, CA; and loving friend, Marilyn Copeland of Lodi, CA.

Red graduated from Lodi High School in 1959 and shortly thereafter he joined the US Navy. After being discharged he married the love of his life Claudine King. He worked various jobs until he was hired by Woodbridge Fire Department. After a long career as a fireman he opened his own business, Galt Door and Trim. He then moved on to cabinetry as well as several other woodworking projects. Red enjoyed being around family and friends, and loved to fish.

Red will be dearly missed.

VISITATION

There will be a visitation from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, February 7th, 2022, at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, located at 831 Industrial Way, Lodi CA, 95240.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, at 10:00am in Cherokee Memorial Park.
