To many Art was known as Pastor but to us he was known as husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He had a big heart and a special love for his family.
He was also a musician and loved to teach others how to play different instruments.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He was the founder and served as Senior Pastor of Connect City Church of Stockton for 42 years.
He became involved in the Community and served as a Chaplain for the Stockton Police Department for 14 years.
His smile, his laughter, and love for people will be greatly missed.
To the one known as “God’s Favorite” it’s not goodbye but see you later!
SERVICES:
The service for Art will be held on Saturday November 12, 2022 at 10:00am at Quail Lakes Baptist Church located at 1904 Quail Lakes Drive in Stockton, CA.
Cherokee Memorial is honored to serve the Valenzuela family.
