Deena Kirby

September 25, 1950 - March 03, 2022

Deena Kirby passed away at home on March 3, 2022. Deena was a lifelong resident of Lodi, CA. She attended Lodi schools and was a member of the English Oaks Seventh Day Adventist Church. Deena received a liberal arts degree from Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA.

Deena worked for many years as a court reporter. She owned a very successful court reporting firm. She is remembered by the legal community as a total professional who took great pride in her work. A lifelong horsewoman, Deena grew up riding horses through the vineyards and cherry orchards near her Lodi home. She raised prize-winning Arabian horses. She owned and operated All Seasons Carriage Company. Her teams of Percheron horses were the stars of movies, weddings and many, many Christmas parties.

Deena's motto was "Live life. This is not a rehearsal." She leaves behind a wide circle of friends that loved and admired her. Deena never said "no" to an adventure, especially if it involved travel, good friends and horses. Deena was optimistic and looked forward to what each day would bring. Her smile brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Deena is predeceased by her sister Barbara and her beloved parents Dorothy and Maurice Bailey. She is survived by her loving companion John and many dear friends. She will be greatly missed.
