Joseph Stanley

March 29, 1982 - March 14, 2022

On Monday, March 14, 2022, Joe passed away and went to his heavenly home after a courageous 7 year battle with brain stem cancer.

He was born on March 29, 1982, in St. Joseph, MO. Joe and his family moved to Lodi in 1988. He attended Tokay High School graduating in 2000. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Sacramento State University. He worked in the Food Service industry during and after college. He loved all sports and was a walking encyclopedia of sports facts. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, KC Chiefs and the Kansas University Jayhawk Basketball. ROCK CHALK!

He is survived by his loving parents, Jan and Danny Stanley, sisters Katie Stanley and Emily (Eric) Ballou and three nephews, Lukas, Andy and Tommy. He is affectionately known as “Uncle Joe” not only to his three nephews but also to his friend’s children, who adored their “Uncle Joe”.

He is survived by 9 Aunts, 10 Uncles and 29 cousins. Joe cherished time spent with his family and friends.

VISITATION

A visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 8:00pm Friday March 18, 2022 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

Burial will be private.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 27, 2022 at 2:00pm also at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to their favorite charity. SEVA Hospice or Joe’s choice
