June 30, 1942 - April 23, 2022
Harley Ehresman, of Lodi, was born on June 30, 1942, in Hosmer, South Dakota and entered Heaven's Gates on April 23, 2022.
Harley grew up in and near Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he met and married the love of his life, Vera. They moved to Lodi, California soon after. He was a beloved husband, father and "Papa". He was very involved with his family and was never too busy to attend his grandsons' various events. He worked at Guild Winery for many years. He was a hard-worker, but he also liked to have fun playing games, traveling back home and to new places, eating German food, making cheese buttons and drinking coffee. He was a long-time member of GracePoint Church where he always sat in the same place quietly and consistently loving Jesus.
Harley's beautiful wife of 55 years, Vera; and his parents, Helmuth and Lydia Ehresmann preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Kevin (Valerie) Ehresman; his daughter, Candace (Rudy) Gutierrez; grandsons, Jacob, Ryan, Dillon, Roman, and Nathan; as well as three siblings, Milton (MaryEllen) Ehresmann, Irene (Harley) Hoff, Stan (Vicki) Ehresmann; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
