Alvina Katherine Job

Alvina Katherine Job passed away at her home in Woodbridge, CA on August 31, 2017, at the age of 89. Born in South Dakota on November 27, 1927, she has lived the past 50 years in Woodbridge. Her true vocation was that of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and her greatest joy in life were spending time with her beloved family.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Job; daughter Vicki Job; parents Albert and Amelia Scherle; and siblings: Matilda Schuler, Alma Schuler, Alvin Scherle, Emma Bishop and Albert Scherle. She is survived by her children: Valerie Cornwell (Eric), Tami Hilscher (Perry), Todd Job (Carrie); grandchildren: Brittani Phillips (Todd), Taylor Cornwell, Jordan Cornwell, Zachary Job, Austin Job; and siblings Edgar Scherle and Martha Zimmerman.

 

Visitation will take place from 4-8 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Vineyard Chapel 14165 N. Beckman Rd. Lodi, CA.

Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Ln, Lodi CA.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton, CA 95204

 

 

Sandra Leiting

February 16, 1957 – August 29, 2017 Sandra Kay Leiting was born in Stockton to Joseph and Judith Leiting and passed away at age 60 from cancer after a hard fought battle. She graduated from Lincoln High School, California State Stanislaus and Golden Gate University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked in the health insurance administration field for 35 years and retired from San Joaquin County as the Employee Benefits Manager in 2013. She enjoyed living in the country and growing vegetables year round, but her real passion was fishing. She and Gary Graham, the love of her life and best friend for 42 years, enjoyed many wonderful and productive days on the water. Oh… the drags going off..fish on!!

In addition to her beloved Gary, Sandy will be missed by her loving mother Judith; siblings Joseph Leiting III, David Leiting (Tracy), Patti Vincent (Don), Mark Leiting (Gentye), Jayme Leiting (Traci), Gary’s brother Thomas Graham; nieces and nephews Donny, Desire, Shaina, Chelsea, Chad, Haley, Brandon, Amanda, Patrick, Melanie (Ben), Rebecca; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph and sister Suzette Leiting.Sandra Leiting

A visitation for Frances Vermeltfoort will be held held Thursday, August 31 from 12 noon to 8 pm At Cherokee Memorial Park in the Vineyard Chapel, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi CA.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 1 at 10:00 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church

Patricia Baxter

December 18, 1943 - August 26, 2017 Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Baxter family.

Harry Momi

Harry Robert Momi, 92, of Stockton, CA graced this earth on October 12, 1924 and entered into rest on August 25, 2017. He was born and raised and stayed in Stockton and served his country in WW2 and was awarded a purple heart for his time in combat.

Harry had many loves in life: his first being his wife, Kathy Momi of fifty five years
