Linda Faria

March 3, 1944 - May 24, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Faria on May 24, 2023.  She passed peacefully at The Hospice House with her family by her side.

Linda was born in Little Rock Arkansas on March 3, 1944. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1962 and attended Stockton College.

She met the love of her life, Ronald Faria, when she began working at the John Deere Parts Depot in 1964. Ron may not have known it at the time, but Linda had her sights set on marrying that man!  On February 24, 1968, they tied the knot and so began the groundwork of the Faria family and their wonderful life together.  Linda patiently waited for a child and joyfully welcomed Nicole Renee Faria to the family in 1974.  That same year, Linda, Ron, and Nicole adventurously moved from their home State of California to Illinois where they lived over the next 23 years.

Linda and Ron both retired from John Deere in 1997 and hurried back to their friends and family in California.  After reuniting with her BFFs, (Sandy, Gayle and Andrea), Linda became a member of The Woman’s Club of Lodi (WCL).  She was a dedicated member for 23 years and served as the WCL Treasurer for 16 of those years.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who leaves behind Ronald Faria (husband of 55 years), Nicole Renee Faria Ramirez (daughter), Alex Ramirez (son in law), Carson Ramirez (grandson) and Cole Ramirez (grandson).

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Woman’s Club of Lodi, Hospice of San Joaquin, or any charity you feel would honor Linda’s memory.
