It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, David Salazar. David passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 16, 2024. He was born February 10, 1942, to Jessie and Joseph Salazar in Fresno California. Soon after the passing of his father, David was raised by his Stepfather, Quinten Nadalang. David graduated from Edison High school and afterwards immediately joined the US Navy where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he married the love of his life, Rosie Perez. They had two children. After the war David obtained his Barbers license and was a successful businessman for 44 years. Dominick Zuill

February 9, 1993 - October 14, 2024

From the day he was born on February 9th, 1993, to the day he left this earth October 14th, 2024, Dominick Alexander Kenneth Zuill touched lives. Dominick was known to his friends and family as the most helpful, loving, and positive person. He was an active member of the skateboarding, snowboarding, and rotary engine communities. Dom was an artist, an engineer, and a birdwatcher. Dominick was always game for another adventure, a fresh experience, or a new friend wherever he went and left an impression on the hearts of all who had the good fortune to cross paths with him.

Dominick was a loving son to Kelley Shields, Kenneth Zuill, and John Shields. Dom was the oldest and tallest brother to Erikka Blankenship, John Shields, Cordell Zuill, Nickolas Shields, and Jayden Freidt. He went on many an adventure with his devoted girlfriend, Lisa Ko. Dominick was a doting uncle to his nephew and two nieces, a caring nephew to numerous aunts and uncles, and a cousin who will be greatly missed by the dozens of cousins who loved him as fiercely as he loved them. His surviving grandparents are extremely saddened by the loss of their grandson.

Dominick left us with a legacy of kindness. He spoke an unkind word against no one and saved even the smallest insect he came across indoors. Dominick gave skateboards to kids in need and would fix anyone’s car who found themselves in a pinch. He believed in giving to charity and most recently gave a monetary gift to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Dom showed up for the people in his life through and through. He lived life to the fullest, throwing caution to the wind and saying “yes” with no fear to things many of us would shy away from. Please leave your condolences below if you’d like, but the best way you could honor Dominick’s life would be to live yours like he did.

Per the request of the family, services for Dominick Zuill will be held privately through Cherokee Memorial.

W. David Lee

May 1, 1947 - October 12, 2024

William David Lee was born on May 1, 1947, in Stockton, California, to Wayland Lee and Lucy Blair Lee. He met his Lord face to face on October 12, 2024. David lived with his family in Linden, California, for much of his early years. David graduated from Stagg High School in Stockton, California. He then received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of San Francisco. David also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. After being discharged from the Army, David joined the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department where he served the people of San Joaquin County for 32 years before his retirement in 2001. David was married to Jeanette Potter Lee on November 26, 1971, and they were blessed with 52 years of marriage and two beautiful children, Benjamin Lee (Tori) of Escalon, California, and Jennifer Lee Branco (Bryan) of Folsom, California. David and Jeanette were also blessed with eight grandchildren whom they love; Nathaniel Branco, Samuel Branco, Matthew Lee, Mia Branco, Jacob Lee, Jenna Branco, Jack Lee, and also Sabrina “Bo” Branco who preceded him in death in 2020. David also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Sherrod Lee, Bob Lee, Max Lee, Luanne Siraq and Kathy Copeland, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. David loved his wife, Jeanette, and his children and grandchildren and was always so proud of them and loved them with all of his heart. As much as David loved the life that he built with Jeanette, there was one thing that David loved even more and that was his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his church. He was always ready to share the gospel with others, was an encourager, and willing to listen and care for those who needed him. David humbly served as an Elder of the Ripon church of Christ for over 30 years and was dedicated to doing God’s will. David was well-respected in the community and by all of those whom he served in the Lord’s church until his passing. He will be remembered with much love by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. David will be greatly missed.
