Ruby Patricia “Patty” Willyard entered into the presence of her Lord February 24, 2015.
Born in Burbank, Calif. Jan. 3, 1927 to John Granville Martin and Lillian Ruth Martin, she was reared in the San Fernando Valleyand Ventura, where she would meet and fall in love with Navy 2nd Class Petty Officer Paul Willyard during WWII, marrying him August 11, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul of 59 years, and is survived by her eldest son John and his wife Debbie, son Daniel and his wife Cathy, Ann and her husband Charles as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Faith and family were of paramount importance to her and she nurtured her family while her husband Paul pastored many churches throughout California and Nevada. She was most recently a long standing member of the Stockton Alliance Church, where her celebration of life will be held Monday, March 2, at 11:30 a.m.
