Norman Bradley Harris1942-2016
Norman Bradley Harris passed away on January 25, 2016 in Stockton at the age of 73. Norman resided on the family ranch in Acampo. Born in Oakland, he moved to Rio Linda at a young age. As a young boy he was involved with the Sacramento Horseman’s Club. Norman graduated from Highlands High School in 1960 and Stockton College in 1962. On August 7, 1965 Norman married his childhood sweetheart Dustie Baker. Norman was a lifetime member of the California State Horseman’s Association. He was a horse show judge for many years traveling up and down the west coast and 3 trips to Hawaii. Norman enjoyed hunting, hiking and the great outdoors. He was always quick to share his knowledge and love of horses. Norman is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Dustie Harris. He is survived by his daughter Kerri Barcroft (William), granddaughter Lynndee Barcroft of Acampo, and sister Marilyn Cook (John) of Lodi.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Evergreen chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane, Lodi.
VISITATION
Viewing will take place from 9-10 am the same day at the chapel.
