Debbie's presence would light up a room, and she was always willing to help anyone in need. Debbie enjoyed decorating, gardening, and taking care of her horse, "Buddy". Debbie and Sam were members of the Elks Lodge. They traveled to Lodi for the winter and volunteered at the Elks Lodge for many events and helped keep the lodge tidy and decorated for Christmas.
