June 20, 1930 - December 27, 2020
Betty Lou Hunt, 90 years old, entered her heavenly home on December 27th, 2020 at her home in Stockton, California. Betty was born on June 20th, 1930 to Martha Pitts and James Homer in Little Rock Arkansas. Betty joins her beloved husband Rodger Hunt, mother, father, and sister Jody Herbert in her heavenly resting place and leaves behind her two sisters, Mary Huff and Billie McElyea, four children, Leroy, Elizabeth, Sandra, and Darlene, and nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.
She was often found sharing her love of Jesus with her family spending time singing old hymns to them and teaching bible verses to the great-grandchildren as they visited.
Betty worked for 15 years at Bank of America and then spent the last 30 years of her formal working life as a CNA at Golden Living Center-Chateau in Stockton. After retirement, she dedicated her time to helping with her grandchildren and all their extracurricular activities often found as their biggest fan in the stands.
