Jean M. Stone, 105, passed away peacefully at her home February 15, 2020. She was born in Redwood City, California on April 4, 1914. Jean was one of eight children born to Alex G. Mckerlie, a native of Scotland and Roxie M. Doran, a native of Woodland, California. Before her retirement she was a legal secretary for over 30 years, employed in both Reno and Sacramento. Jean was a former member of the Legal Secretaries Association and the Camelia City Porcelain Artists. She enjoyed porcelain painting, oil painting, gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, loving husband Frank L. Stone, daughter Donna Mae Muir and grandsons; Kenneth and Jon Muir. She leaves behind her granddaughter Niki Muir, 3 great grandchildren; Chrystle (Justin) Strippelman, Ashley Muir and Taylor Muir, granddaughter in law Yvette Muir, and extended family. A special thanks to April Edwards who has helped Niki care for Jean throughout the years. At Jean’s request no services will be held and she will be laid
to rest with her late husband Frank.
