Julieta Gaspar

April 5, 1942 - July 4, 2021

In Loving Memory of Julieta Gaspar

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Julieta Gaspar was a woman who embodied love at its fullest.

One who soared toward every opportunity, Julieta continuously searched for ways to offer compassion to all who needed it. A true testament to humble living and loving contribution,  she selflessly devoted her time, talent, and treasure to others. She extended her love, transcending time and money, to less fortunate children in her native country, as an engaged member of the Philippine Children’s Fund of America.

Julieta devoted meaningful effort to every endeavor, through her 35 years of employment at the United States Postal Service and as President of the Filipino-American Postal Employees Association of Stockton. A true visionary with an artistic soul, Julieta was often found creating, expressing her gifts through celebrated, original artwork, ballroom dancing, homemade baking, and beautiful floral arrangements. Accompanied by Jorge, her husband of 55 years, she traveled all over the world, eagerly seeking out new experiences.

A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend you could count on to walk with you through any of life’s grievances, Julieta freely offered wisdom, comfort, and grace in anything and everything.

A daughter of the Lord, Julieta Gaspar shone God’s light on those around her.

That light lives on.
