On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, Bradley David Zimmer (lovingly known as BZ to most) lost his hard fought battle to Covid-19. Brad was preceded in death by his father, David Zimmer, and his step-father, Lee Womble. He is survived by his wife, Annette, his daughter, Jaslyn, his mother, Diana Womble, his two sisters and their families, Tamara & Bruce Baxter and Stacey & Kai McSwain, his father-in-law, Sam Woods, his mother-in-law, Ruth Woods, his two sister-in-laws and their families, Stacey & Michael Nunes and Shannon Morse, and his brother-in-law and his family, David & Lori Royce.

Brad was born on February 19, 1967 in Stockton, CA to David Zimmer and Diana Womble. He lived in Stockton most of his life. Upon graduating high school from Tokay High, he proudly served in the United States Army. Brad attended Community College in Santa Barbara, CA. On July, 14, 2007, he married the love of his life, Annette Woods. He was blessed with a daughter, Jaslyn Rush. Brad loved working with computers and all things electronic and was the owner of an IT business, Z-Tech.

If you knew Brad well, you knew he was a man of passion, a big personality who could melt your heart with one flash of his infectious smile. Whether it be politics or sports, Brad was not shy on giving you his opinion or standing up for what he believed in. He loved his country and showed his devotion by serving in the United States military. Brad’s passion developed early on in his life as he excelled in sports, such as Little League, football and wrestling; and he was in a competitive bowling league up to the time of his passing. Whether he was grilling the most amazing brisket for a houseful of friends, attending countless practices and games for his daughter, or completing various home-improvement projects for his wife, Brad showed his love through acts of service. He was passionate for his dogs, he was the “life of the party”, and he liked nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. Brad is celebrating in Heaven, watching over everyone he loved.
