September 15, 1932 - January 12, 2022
Roy Collins, beloved and dedicated husband, has followed his wife Dolores to heaven on January 12th.
Roy was born in Bishop, California September 15th, 1932. His family moved to Grass Valley, Ca where he graduated from High School in 1950. Roy then joined the United States Air Force in 1950 where he served with honor. Roy was a dedicated employee for Caltrans where he served as a Disaster Preparedness Supervisor and then trainer. He and his wife Dolores loved community theatre, travel and were well-known for their trips around California in their private plane which Roy piloted.
Roy and Dolores were married Feb 14th, 1985 until her death in 2012. Roy is survived by this step-children Carol and Bill and his adored granddaughter Brittney.
