Earla Ellen Bowline

November 8, 1943 - November 12, 2022

Earla Ellen Bowline was born November 8, 1943 in Lodi, California to Edward “Mutts” and Ragna Todresic. She grew up in Stockton, California attending local schools and graduating from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in 1961.

Earla married Roger Bowline in August 1961, and began a loving married life that spanned more than 61 years. She was Mother to three children: Gregory(Kandi), Sandra(Eric Brown), and Sharon(Lance Crouch; Grandmother to eight:Nicole, Derek(Estafani), Aaron(Michelle), Lauren(Vincent), Janelle(Derek), Garret(Tia-Fiancee), Noah(Abby), and Shelby; and Great Grandmother to seven plus one to be born: Jacob, Ethan, Hayley, Ryan, Bradley, Melanie Anita, and Adelaide.

Earla encouraged her husband in both an accounting career and later in ministry and pastoring of several churches in California. Earla taught children as a teacher’s aide in both public and private schools and worked as a caregiver to several in need of personal care. Earla and Roger returned to the Stockton area in 1999 to care for their Mothers who had suffered strokes and rejoined the church where their work for the Lord has begun.

She was active in Children’s teaching and Ladies’ ministries throughout the state. Earla was known for her smile, and love of her family. She often stated that she has a “Wonderful Family” as suggested by a stranger listening to her speak of her family.. She is already missed by the family and friends who have learned of her passing.

At the request of the family, services will be private.
