Richard Constancio

March 29, 1968 - November 6, 2023

Richard Raymond Constancio passed away with family at his side, on Monday, November 06, 2023, after a difficult battle with cancer.  He was 55 years old.  Richard was born in Stockton, California, on March 29, 1968, to Ramon and Frances Constancio.  Sharing the same birthday as his mother, and being her last born, Richard was a “special” birthday gift!

Richard grew up in Stockton with his four siblings, Frank, Virginia, Rebecca and Mona.  He attended schools in Stockton and graduated from Franklin High School in 1986.  Richard loved sports, and when he was young, played “Little League” baseball.  As he grew older, his love for sports continued, especially with baseball, basketball and football.  Whether it was the “World Series”, the NBA Playoffs” or the “Super Bowl”, Richard was a fan.  He enjoyed watching “the game” with friends, playing a game of pool, dominoes or cards, and taking a little ride to the casino.

Richard also loved working in the yard and kept his front and backyard immaculate!  You would often see him mowing, edging and watering his grass.  He took great pride in having the “best looking lawn on the block”!

But most of all, Richard loved working with his hands.  He was crafty and creative and could turn an ordinary object into something really cool!  Richard would spot something, and his mind would start thinking “what can I do with this”?  He would get a vision and get to work, and you would be amazed at the finished product Richard would create!

On June 19, 2023, Richard chose to be baptized and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior!  He held close to his heart the promise of going to heaven and being with family and friends once again!  Richard will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved and knew him.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ramon and Frances Constancio, his brother-in-law, John Chavez and his niece, Stella Chavez.

He is survived by his brother Frank Alveras, his three sisters, Virginia Chavez, Rebecca Chavez and Mona Amador (Ron), his daughters, Carissa Constancio and Christina Zavala, his granddaughters, Adelina and Isabell Buenrostro, and many nieces and nephews.
