Michael Amador

September 8, 1988 - June 20, 2023

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Michael, our loving son, brother, grandson, and friend to all whose lives he touched. He left us while sleeping peacefully on June 20th, 2023. He was born September 8th, 1988 in Stockton, California to Theresa and Leonard Amador.

As a child Michael loved playing baseball, Playing Pokemon, and wrestling with his little brother Matthew. He loved taking trips and greatly enjoyed camping at Pinecrest every year. Michael was a star baseball player in little league and an all star pitcher. Michael graduated from Bear Creek High School in 2006. It was in high school where Michael grew a love for golf. his grandfather worked with him to improve his golf swing but Michael was a natural and competitive. Michael also enjoyed fishing with his father and was an avid collector of items that were valuable to him.

After high school Michael began working for BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse where he worked as a server for almost 10 years. In 2017 Michael began working for Tesla as a Lead Production Associate in Fremont, California. He loved his position and would spend every Saturday talking about his job duties to his family. Michael was full of personality, a movie buff, and loved exploring. His greatest asset was his perfect smile that would light up any room he was in and will forever be remembered as “Big Mike” who was respectful to everyone he met.

Michael is survived by his parents, brother Matthew Amador, his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Amador, and his maternal grandparents Ray and Ventura Jimenez. Michael will be deeply missed by his cousins, aunts, uncles, and all knew and loved him.
