Ending a valiant decades-long battle with cancer, Marilyn Lee Bingham (84) passed away surrounded by family on July 16, 2023. Born in Salt Lake City Utah, Marilyn moved to Northern California to be with her lifelong love and partner Ronald Bingham. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Marilyn's favorite pastime was spending time with her family. A gifted seamstress, one could often find Marilyn at her sewing machine making something beautiful. Marilyn greatly enjoyed Christmas in every respect-decorating, singing carols, hosting family and friends, shopping, and driving around admiring the lights. She also took pleasure in interior design, traveling with her siblings, collecting antiques, baking, and spending time with her pets.
Marilyn is preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Ronald Bingham, her sons, Ronnie Bingham and Jeffery Bingham, her sister, Sandra Morris, and her mother and father, Marjorie and Floyd Walker. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Bingham-Islas, her four grand children, April Schnabel (Greg), Danielle Banach (Radek), Michael Islas, and Nick Enos, as well as her siblings, Suzanne Williams, James Walker (Sue), Judy Taylor (Jeff), and many cherished nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park and Funeral Home (Evergreen Chapel) in Lodi, CA on July 25th at 9:00 A.M. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 10:00 AM. Reception to follow at Micke Grove Park.
