Ronald Del Carlo

February 6, 1943 - August 28, 2023

Ronald Gene Del Carlo, “Ronnie”, was born February 6, 1943 to Italian immigrant parents, Theodore Del Carlo and Inez Celli. Ronnie passed away on August 28, 2023 with his family by his side.

Ronnie’s passion was farming. In his younger years, he founded King’s Crown Asparagus Packing with close friends. His highlight of the year was tomato harvest, with his son, who he was extremely proud of for taking the lead in the farming operation for over 25 years. Ronnie also served Air Force Reserves.

Ronnie was a kind, gentle man with a heart of gold. His daughter was his princess. He was the best listener and would be ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.  He loved to cook everything! Curing olives was his specialty and he proudly shared with his friends and family.

Ronnie was a wonderful father and husband. He is survived by his loving wife, Janie, of 55 years, daughter Michelle (Bruce) Halldorson, son Dino (Nicole) Del Carlo, grandchildren Mia, Anthony, Nathan and Andrew. He also leaves behind his sister, Linda (Joey) Ratto, nieces and nephew Joanna (Matthieu) Esteve, Jenifer (Michael Boito) and Michael (Jacqueline) Ratto, great nieces Gianna Baley and Lucianna Boito, great nephews Nicolas Esteve, Joseph Ratto and Nicolo Ratto and sister in law Lynette (Gary) Selesia.
