Barbara Thomas

May 12, 1941 - November 20, 2024

Barbara Anne (Muller) Thomas passed on November 20, 2024.  God called on her to join Him while she slept in her home in Linden, California.  Barbara was born in Newport Rhode Island in 1941 to John and Marie (Paulin) Muller and grew up in San Diego where she met Richard.  Barbara and Richard (deceased) married in 1960 and lived in Stockton where they welcomed three children; Carol, Lynn and William.  Their family grew to include eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Barbara worked as a phlebotomist for Dameron Hospital and then the Office Manager for ElDorado Pathology.  She taught catechism at St. Bernadette's and volunteered as a Girl Scout Troop leader.  In retirement, she continued to give her time by volunteering at Dameron Hospital, a driver for Red Cross and as an active Board member of Quilts of Honor in Valley Springs.  Barbara and Richard enjoyed traveling across the United States in their travel trailer visiting National Parks and family and friends.  She created beautiful quilts, one for each of their children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed camping, crafting, puzzles, knitting, sewing and crocheting, reading, and participating in honoring our veterans with quilts.
