In 2004 he and his wife, Iry, moved to Stockton, CA, and were parishioners and active members of Presentation Church. He was also a Knight of Columbus and was known as the sausage chef for the “World Famous Pancake Breakfast.” He was a passionate sports fan! He especially loved the Bay Area sports teams – Giants, Warriors, and his favorite of them all the Niners. He was a diehard Niners fan with season tickets for several years.
