In Loving Memory of
Raymundo “Nonoy” Paculba
January 20, 1974 - December 3, 2024
Raymundo “Nonoy” Paculba, a beloved son, brother, cousin, friend, husband, uncle, and father, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 50. Born in Zamboanga City, Philippines on January 20, 1974, Nonoy immigrated to California at the age of 12, with the rest of his many Paculba family members. His roots were in California, an alumni of Edison High, he continued his post-secondary education and pursued a career in the medical field, and raised his two eldest children there. Later in his adulthood, he subsequently relocated to Illinois and continued his career as a Pharmacy Technician. He embraced a life of holistic living, and followed the mantra "Let food be thy medicine." Nonoy lived a life that reflected his beliefs, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. This was clearly evident in his fit physique, healthy hair, and flawless skin.
Nonoy was a man of deep faith and unwavering kindness. He was a dedicated deacon at his local church, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort. His infectious smile, warm hugs, and inviting spirit touched the lives of many. His life was guided by Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
Nonoy’s selfless nature was evident in his final act of love. On Giving Tuesday, he donated his organs, saving the lives of four individuals in need. This extraordinary act of generosity reflects his compassionate and generous soul.
Of all the distinguished roles Nonoy held to the many lives he positively influenced, Nonoy’s most cherished role was that of a loving and devoted father. His children affectionately called him “Daddy,” a title he wore with immense pride. He loved his children deeply and considered them his greatest blessing. The strong bonds he forged with his children were evident in their close and affectionate relationships.
Nonoy was predeceased by his loving parents, Francisco and Lolita Paculba. He is survived by his wife, Amor Jane; and their two young children, Raymundo Jr. and Victoria; and his eldest three children, Rachie, Luke, and Selene; his siblings, Imelda and James.
