Agapito Cortez

Agapito “Pete” Cortez
August 18, 1931 – February 25, 2024

Agapito “Pete” Cortez entered into eternal life and into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2024.

Agapito served in the U.S. Army with pride and honor during the Korean War. He is a combat veteran, serving with the 25 th Infantry Division (Wolf Hounds). Agapito was a highly decorated soldier, yet spike very little of his (18) months spent in Korea. He was known by the brothers he fought alongside of as “Aggie.”

Agapito leaves behind for just a little while three children and will forever miss and adore him: Samuel D. Cortez Sr. (Rita), Debra L. Janukites (Tim) and Colleen A. Regohos; also survived by 9 grand children; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend his Celebration of Life.

VISITATIONS
A visitation will be held from 10:00am - 7:00pm on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. A second visitation will be held from 10:00am - 7:00pm on Friday, March 15th, 2024 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE
A service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
