Sharon Carman

July 17, 1949 - September 5, 2024

Sharon Ruth Carman, 75, of Stockton, California, passed away on September 5th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born on July 17th in Fresno, California, the daughter of Clyde R. Wilson and Cloie G. Trotter. She graduated from Vista High School in 1967. Sharon was always detail-oriented and hardworking, which helped her earn an accounting degree while raising her children and working full-time.

In 1991, Sharon married the love of her life, Edward Carman Jr., a joyous union that lasted over 30 years. Throughout this time, they embarked on many adventures, from farming walnuts and building a home to traveling the world. Travel was a shared passion they both enjoyed, often with other family members. Sharon’s favorite place to visit was Hawaii, specifically Maui, where she loved to float in the ocean, snorkeling all day.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward W. Carman Jr. She is survived by her children Maria (Edward) Aldrete, Christopher (Laura) Dendy, and Edward (Angie) Carman III; her grandchildren Elizabeth Dendy, Kathryn (Thomas) Chapman, Christopher Aldrete, Jeannie Carman, Kelly Carman, and Edward Carman IV; and her great-grandchildren Jeremiah Slaughter and Orion Chapman.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on September 23rd, 2024, followed by the service and interment conducted by Chaplain Larry Edge at Cherokee Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 14165 Beckman Road, Lodi, CA 95240.
