February 12, 1943 - January 6, 2025
“Mike“ Weldon Michael Want, 81, of Lodi, CA, died in his home the morning of January 6, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Carol Want, his sons, Shawn Want and Dustin Haning, his daughter, Crystal Want, his grandchildren, Josh, Caleb, Hannah, Ripper, and Rowdy, and his very much loved dog Patch. Mike was a big man in every way, size and personality. He was the person everyone came to for answers and he would always provide them. He gave to all and never asked in return. His impact was felt in the horse world as President of the American Miniature Horse Association, in the construction world as owner of Want Construction, and in his personal world where he helped and influenced so many people. He was a wonderful, big-hearted man and will be so very missed. I love you, Mike, as do many other people.
SERVICE
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 21st, 2025 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
