February 17, 1939 - March 25th, 2025
Jimmie E. Baker, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on March 25th , 2025. He died peacefully at home with his family after a long illness. Born in Junction Texas on February 17, 1939. He moved to California at a young age.
He worked for Ambrosia Electric in Galt, MD Feed Mill in Lodi and then 25 years for Guild Wine as a maintenance mechanic in Lodi.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing and camping at Dillon Beach. Liked to golf, go to garage sales, and casinos. Loved family gatherings, listening to country music and tinkering in the garage.
He is survived by his wife Arlene Baker and children, Jimmie E. Baker Jr., Matthew T. Baker, Lori Tabor, Renee O'Bagy, and Christopher Baker. In addition two step children, Darrin Wendland and Lori Taylor, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also four step-grandchildren, Jaden, Alyssa, Callie, and Aubrey.
Preceded in death by his parents Travis and Alta Baker, brother Robert Baker, two sisters Charlene Baker and Angela Himmrich.
Celebration of life will be held April 12, 2025 at 1:00pm at his home.
