Wanda Jividen

March 23, 1937 - March 29, 2025

Wanda Lousie Elliott Jividen, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Aunt passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Oklahoma, March 23, 1937 to Harry and Dovie Shaffer the family relocated to Stockton in 1942 at the age of 5 years old. Wanda grew up in Stockton, Ca. attending local schools and Graduating from Franklin High School in 1955.

Wanda was the youngest of 7 siblings all proceeding her death: Ernie, Viola, Hershel, Betha, Thelma, Helen, and Virgie Marie.

A devoted Mother to Cherryl Elliott Kyes Collette, Teresa Elliott-Austin and Allen Dean Elliott (deceased). She is now dancing in heaven with Allen (2020) along with her husband(s) George Lee Elliott (2024) and Jack Jay Jividen (2011).

Grandmother to Sean Kyes, Ryan Kyes and Stephenie Gubac. Step Grandmother to Michael and David Austin. Great-grandmother (GG) to Natalee, Austyn, Tre` Gubac and Gracie Kyes. Step Great-grandmother to Katie and Nicolas Austin, Brooklynn and David Austin. Step Great Great Grandmother to Italia, Kamilla and Reyes Austin.

Wanda spent most of her time doing for others, making beautiful handmade things for those she loved. A talented: Seamstress, and Upholsterer, she made hats scarves, dresses and sweaters Knitting, Crocheting and Needle point work was a way to keep her hands busy while always taking care of those around her.

Wanda worked for several years at Dameron Hospital, and retired from the San Joaquin Medical Society in the yearly 1990’s. After retiring, she moved to Sacramento to start her life with Jack, they Married on October 3, 1993 in Reno, NV. In 2022 Wanda moved to Galt to a beautiful new home closer to her daughters, living in Galt, she enjoyed her daily walks with Jazzie (her dog) while meeting new friends and neighbors.

Wanda had a heart of gold. Providing her compassion, courage and wisdom to others in her presence. Mother offered all her children Unconditional Love, Independence and the high spirted Knowledge that we could do anything we set out to do with success. She will be truly missed by many, especially Cherryl and Teresa.

SERVICE
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
