Martha Paulette Tillery passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 68. She was born in Modesto, CA. She grew up in Patterson and moved to Lodi with her family in 1968. She attended Patterson and Lodi High Schools. She worked for Longs Drug Store for 10 years, Premier Credit Union and retired from Lodi Unified School District as an Accounting Clerk after 10 years. Her passion was water skiing and camping with her family in her younger years. She was a past Madam President of the Lodi Eagles Auxiliary #848. Paula always loved to have a good time and never wanted to miss out. She loved being with her family and was the biggest cheerleader for her grandkids. Her family was her world and will be greatly missed by her daughters and son-in-laws, Jonell and Tal Steckman, Jeanine and Mike Turner and son Matthew Morrison. Grammie to Matthew, Courtney (Elijah), Kirsten, Lauren, Addison, Holland and Payslee and great granddaughter, Kaila. Along with her sister, Glenda Tillery and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceed in death by her parents, James and Martha Tillery and sister, Sharon Tillery.
An outdoor service will be held at Faith Community Church 18621 N. Hwy 99, Acampo, CA on October 24, 2020 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow outdoors at the Steckman residence in Lodi. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association, Donation Processing Center, PO Box 742030, Los Angeles, CA 90074.

Dennis Barton Moresco, loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on September 22, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was 77 years old. Dennis was born in Stockton at St. Josephs’s hospital on November 21, 1942 in Stockton CA to Claude and Esther Moresco. He was raised in an Italian farming family of cherry and walnut orchards and proud of his Italian heritage. His favorite childhood memories were of playing down the ranch, shooting with his dogs and enjoying big Italian meals around the kitchen table with family and friends. He was a gifted baseball player, playing at the semi-pro level for the American Legion. Later in his life, Dennis enjoyed giving his nephews batting tips. Dennis graduated from Stagg High School and received his AA degree from Stockton College. Afterwards, he served in the Airforce Reserves, was a member of Waterloo Gun & Bocci Club, and champion trap shooter. Dennis worked at PG&E in Land Management for 40 years and met his wife Diane, married in 1977. After he retired, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of being a car enthusiast, building and racing cars. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Gloria “Boots” Green. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years Diane Moresco supporting him at home his last 12 years of his illness. He also left behind his favorite dog Marcus who was always by his side through his entire illness. He leaves behind his sisters “Peach” Claudene Blasl (Duane-deceased), Patricia Kowalewski (Steve) and nieces and nephews Brien Brown (Valerie), Rod Brown (Diana), Brad Blasl, God daughter Michelle Vaccarezza (Ron), Trish Dondero (Michael), Dan Kowalewski (Roxanne) and Erik Kowalewski.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin or Vitas Hospice.
SERVICE
Graveside services will be held at the Garden of the Holy Family at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240 on Monday September 28th at 11:00 am.

Choon “Connie” Ryans, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on September 21, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 84 years old. Connie was born in South Korea on February 1, 1936 to Byung Yui and Pak Sang. After fleeing her village as a young child during the Korean war, she lived in Pusan, South Korea with her mother and 3 siblings until she met her husband Marvin, while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They fell in love and married in Korea but Connie stayed behind for over a year taking care of her ill mother before joining Marvin in the U.S. in 1963. Connie was an avid bowler and member of the 500 league. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing with her late husband, playing bingo, and going to casinos. Connie worked at Del Monte cannery in Stockton for almost 30 years. Later in life, most of her time was spent with her children and grandchildren always wanting to cook them a meal.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Marvin Ryans. She leaves behind her four daughters Tonya Ryans, Tammy Ryans Lopez (Rudy), Tracy Recio, and Teresa Martinez (David), 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
VISITATION
Viewing will be at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home located at 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA 95240 95240 on Monday September 28th from 9:00 am – 12 pm.
SERVICE
Graveside services will be held at the Garden of Trees at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi, CA 95240 on Tuesday, September 29th at 10:30 am.

John A. Just was called to his heavenly home September 18, 2020 at the age of 98 in Lodi, California. John was born in rural Zeeland, North Dakota on November 26, 1921, to Andrew and Rosina (Wiest) Just and was raised on the family farm.
He was married to Dorothy Ketterling, November 30, 1947 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lodi. They farmed on the Just homestead in North Dakota for 7 years. In 1954, they moved to Lodi. They raised three daughters, Griselda Waters, Jeanne Kay, and Angela Guerra. John worked at The Sulphur Company, Super Mold, the cannery, and at Johns Manville Pipe Plant in Stockton as a lathe operator. From 1982 until his retirement in 1990, he worked as a custodian for Lodi Unified School District. He helped to build a school for St. Peter Lutheran Church, where he was a trustee and also attended Lifelight Bible classes.
His hobbies were reading his Bible, building wood furniture, swimming, working in his yard, and riding steam trains.
Survivors include his three daughters and one son-in-law, Daniel Guerra, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren (three on the way) and his sister, Luella Bitz. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, four sisters, two brothers, and a son-in-law, Lansing Waters.
The family would like to thank his visiting angels, Josie, Michelle, and Stephanie, for their wonderful service.
