Kristina McCaffery

December 5, 1951 - October 15, 2021

In memory of Kristina McCaffery

On October 15, 2021, with absolute sadness and unbelieved reality my oh so dear wife, Kristina McCaffery left this world to join all other angels in Heaven. On the same day she and I, her husband John, had planned to celebrate our thirty glorious marriage together.

Our was an exceptionally enchanting and soul binding union, which allowed any petty rifts that might arise to quickly dissolve into a forgiving warm sea of total love for each other. Her departure has left a huge void in my heart, which will always be painful and never filled again.

Sweet Kris was born just shy of 70 years ago in French Camp, CA to two remarkable parents, Veronica and Jerome Panella who are now waiting to greet their special daughter with open arms in The Heavens above.

Also, mourning her loss here on Earth are cherished brothers Jerry, Mike, and Sam. They along with adored sister’s Sarah, Nancy, and Veronica, were together a close knit family able to wade through all and any trails common to any large family. Inherent love and comraderie with each other would always ensure the sun would always shine bright over each other every day.

But without a doubt the true loves of dear Kris were her daughter Jennifer, the very essence of her heart and soul shared equally with her son Michael. Loved along with a host of nephews and nieces. Jennifer and Ricardo’s son Bubbas would present her with two gifted great grandsons, Cruzito and Johnnie, and an adorable great granddaughter Christina.  Michael, in a marriage to one wonderful lady Melissa, would be father to granddaughter Alicia, and grandsons Jordan, Trevor, and Luke. Each would bring a radiant glow to Kris’s face, and aura of pure pleasure that would surround her.

With or without family trials and tribulations; Kris would graduate from Franklin High School in Stockton, perhaps holding some classmates in envy while marveling at her presence. She would further her studies at San Joaquin Delta College, which would help her home skills needed to enter the public sector as a Substance Abuse Counselor for San Joaquin County at which she would later excel.

Although her family composed of true love was a vital link to her wellbeing, Kris was friendly to and admired by many more people. Best friend Yvonne M. was a lifelong companion in which there were no walls to hide any feelings needed to be expressed to each other. There were numerous friends at PCP who would gladly share any rumors and gossip that would bring laughs to all present. After moving to the public sector, she was quickly accepted as a valuable asset by friends Romona, Naomi, Cathy, Rita, Tina, and others in a cubical world. Though not friendly to a fault, it was no fault that her friendship was most actively pursued by all who knew her for her entire life.

Fortunately, for her husband John, she strayed off course for a brief time to accept a position at Pacific Coast Producers (PCP). Call it fate or karma, but with his diligent pursuit of the one he knew to be the love of his life, they were elatedly married on October 15, 1988. That brief stopover at PCP was GODs message that throughout the hordes of souls here on earth, the right two are destined to join together in a heavenly union!

GOD Bless You L.O.M.L
