Christine Chavez

July 27, 1950 - January 24, 2025

Christine “Tina” Chavez (née Estrada), 74, passed away on January 24, 2025, in Lodi, California. Born on July 27, 1950, in Stockton, California, Christine lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished traditions.

A proud graduate of Edison High School in Stockton, CA Christine found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with family and friends, watching Spanish novelas, and searching for hidden treasures on shopping trips, especially at thrift stores.

Christine is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Chavez; her sons Billy Chavez, Philip (Salina) Chavez, and Paul Chavez; as well as 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Laurencia Estrada; her godparents, Elias and Carmen Estrada; and her daughter-in-law, Alicia Chavez.

SERVICES
A viewing will be held on February 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 Beckman Road in Lodi, California. A funeral service will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park Vineyard Chapel at the same address from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Christine’s warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

Herminia “Herming” Aurellado Espiritu
July 30, 1933 - January 24, 2025

Herminia “Herming” Aurellado Espíritu, age 91, passed away on January 24, 2025 in Stockton, California.  She was born on July 30, 1933 in the Philippines.

Herming is survived by her children: Deanna (Mike), Raymond (Maila), Mateh (Lito), Pat, Weng, Dennis (Melina), Mimi, and Bing (daughter-in-law); grandchildren: Che (Joel), Raniel, Christian (Stephanie), Anna (Josh), Ham, Ernest (Sarah), Joshua, Julia, Kyla, Matthew, Cassey, Benj, Gretchen and Sam; great grandchild, Julianna; also survived by her siblings, Gloria Aporongao, Elda Frabigas and Veronica Aninag

She is preceded in death by her husband, Claro Crisologo Espiritu; parents, Jesus Aurellado and Gregoria Alabanza; siblings, Jesusa Verzosa, Nila Tagupa and Emmanual Aurellado; and son Claro “Clarito” Espiritu, Jr.

Herman Foreman

September 15, 1937 - January 24, 2025

Herman Foreman 87, of Stockton CA passed away peacefully at home on Friday January 24 , 2025 with his family by his side. He was born September 15, 1937, in Point Texas, the son of Bowden and Effie Foreman.

His family moved to Stockton CA when he was a child, he graduated from Stockton High School. He proudly served in the US Army 1960 – 1962 earning 3 stripes during his service. When he returned home in 1962 he resumed his job as a Longshoreman with ILWU Local 54 and later Local 91 where he proudly worked for 61 years. In 1977 Herman married Betty “The Boss” Foreman, they were happily married for nearly 29 years when she passed away in 2006. Since her passing Herman spent a lot of time with his family. His joy was attending his grandchildren’s sports and various family events.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ruth “the boss”, his 3 brothers Bobby, Charles, Bowden “Dwindle” Foreman, and his beloved dog Jordee the poodle. He is survived by his son Michael Foreman (Sarah), his daughter Debra Welker (Rickie). 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 sister Louise Eddings, numerous nieces, and nephews.

Herman left behind a legacy of love, honor and respect. He was a hard- working man that was very proud of his time in the military, being a longshoreman, and his son Michael.

He will forever be loved and missed.
