October 11, 1937 - February 17, 2025
Jacqueline (Jackie) Ann Corll was born on October 11th, 1937 in Lodi, California. She passed away Monday, February 17th, 2025, at 87 years of age.
Jackie attended elementary school at Victor Elementary, along with Lockeford Elementary in California. In her youth, Jackie helped out at her family's general store where she honed her talent for beautiful gift wrapping and decorating- a tradition she continued throughout the holidays. Her attention to detail always made you feel special when you opened that box from California.
Jackie met the love of her life, her sweetheart, Everett Corll, while she attended and graduated from Lodi Union High School in Lodi, California. Jackie continued her education at Humphrey’s Business College and later Delta Business College, both located in Stockton, California. She retired as a Budget Technician at Lodi Unified School District in October of 1999, after 32 years.
Jacqueline Ann Hensel and Everett Glen Corll married on August 17th, 1957 at the Methodist Church in Reno, Nevada. Raising two wonderful children, Martin Corll and Kandis Corll-Rios. They enjoyed traveling around California for family adventures with Marty and Kandi for Sprint car races.
Throughout her life, Jackie greatly enjoyed cooking, crafting, discovering new things, working with technology, and tending to the care of others around her. Ever the hostess, a trip to their property was a welcoming experience filled with love. From working on the farm all day and enjoying evening sunsets, to making old fashioned ice cream - her love was endless.
Finding a place to settle down, Everett and Jackie lived over 35 wonderful years in Galt, California. It was there, that she enjoyed many forms of crafting; crocheting, creating beautiful wreaths, and Diamond Dotz art. With her background in technical education, she often was found working with computers, and teaching her family techniques on working with electronics - always ahead of her time, she loved to learn new things.
Additionally, finding a healthy love for genealogy and ancestry, she uncovered a wealth of historical information about her family and ancestors. From successfully completing much of her family tree to learning exciting information about the generations of ancestors who immigrated (some even from Ellis Island). Engrossed in this knowledge, she completed several ancestry books for her family, with the intent for them to be passed down for generations to come.
Jackie and Everett embraced dirt track Sprint Car racing in their retirement years. They traveled to many race tracks, in and out of state, with their 5th wheel (trailer) in tow enjoying their time as empty nesters. After the passing of her highschool sweetheart, Everett, in 2015 she relocated to Lodi, CA. It was there that she lived out the remainder of her life enjoying the peace, tranquility, and companionship of her beloved family and neighbors.
Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Corll. She is survived by her son Martin, daughter Kandis (husband John,) her four Grandchildren (Kerry, Ryan, Brandon, and Jessica,) and four Great Grandchildren (Sierra, Mason, Lane, and James.)
